I went to the Glam Nails & Spa on September 6. I asked for a brows and lip wax. The attendant (Mimi) applied wax to my chin and around my mouth without approval. When the wax was removed I received major facial burns (2â€x1†burns on chin area). As the wax was being applied I asked the attendant to be careful with my skin, she continued without listening. The same attendant was giving me a manicure when she decided to remove 2 of my older Solar nails. Mimi used Cuticle Nipper to pull out my nails from roots. I was in pain and asked her to stop. When I asked her to used a different method in removing these nails like soak in acetone, or by gentle scrape the acrylic off, she refused saying “it take too longâ€. Another attendant (Lisa) noticed the burns on my face and was very concerned that she brought Neosporin and applied it to my face. When I complained to the manager, he did not seem to care and appeared too busy doing another client’s nails. He only lifted his head once to look at the burns and received no apology from him at all.
