Attempted fraud to my bank account for $99.00

I received a notice from my alert banking personnel that Starter Credit Direct was fraudently trying to deduct $99.00 from my checking account which the bank refused.

I called the bank number given to me to let them know I did not authorize this charge and was given a number of Starter Credit Direct to call. After holding for 25 minutes and receiving e-mail names to contact, I hung up.

I tried for 45 minutes to e-mail www.yoursupportdepartment.com to let them know I had not given them permission for this transaction and to remove both it and my name from their files. The e-mail would not go through.

This is a terrible fraud to put on a 73-year-old woman in poor health and living on Social Security with extreme difficulty in paying my bills. Something definitely needs to be done about them.

They have not only tried to rip me off for $99.00, but I wonder how much more they would have taken.
