When I read this about our current lawyer regarding my husband's investor visa and mine as well, I couldn't believe it.in my mind I always knew something was VERY odd with this lawyer.
There are so many similar experiences with the report I read. On August last year, we sent all the paperwork to them, where they would send it to de government to file for our visa application. (I don't know the official terms) Well, of course we had already paid them a huge amount for their services in organizing our paperwork and everything.
When you apply for a visa, you can't leave the US until it gets done, for our type of visa, it would take 3 to 6 months.
We couldn't go to our country for the holidays, we had some other important events as well, but we couldn't go. We tried to contact them regularly to check if they had some news, but they told us that in this cases, no news is good news, that they were probably working on it.
Months passed and they kept telling us the same thing. Not being able to leave the US in such a long time definetely had effects on my family, we really wanted to go back for a while, see our families, we had just had a baby as well that they haven't met.
Well, 8 months had passed when we talked to Toni, and he told us that they had probably lost the paperwork and we had to do it all over again.
This is becoming a huge problem since my visa expired, and everytime we told him that, he seemed surprised, even though we had told him 10 times before!!!
I'm glad I saw this, because I'm definitely changing lawyers before we submit our paperwork and our case again. Im so pissedd!!! Words can't explain. Don't go with them!
