I bought a water rocket via eBay for my 5 year old son. Upon arrival we took it out of the package and before we used it even once a piece broke off the pump used to pressurize the rocket.
I would like a refund, understandably, but after searching for company information (there was a packing slip but it was very vague as to company info, i.E. No contact info.) I could only find a company under the same name in the same city and state that sells carbide cutting tools. I wouldn't think this type of organization would get into the business of selling toy water rockets.
It's not about the money, though I would like my $15 back, rather the principle and these a-holes ripping off honest people that put in a hard day's work everyday to earn a living and provide simple pleasures for their families. I've also seen a couple other reports involving the same 'company'.
Can anything be done to prevent these people from sticking it to other folks?
