On Saturday, April 18 my grandson walked to the McDonald's at 5500 St. Barnabas Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 around 7:00pm with his friends. They ate at the restaurant. Pierre had a McChicken sandwich, fries and sweet tea. Approximately an hour later Pierre began to experience stomach discomfort and left his friends to walk home. Within a block his stomach was swirling and cramping. He began to run and arrived at home bursting thru the door and straight to the bathroom. I went to check on him and discovered he had diarrhea and had lost his bowels all down his pants legs and on the floor before he could get them down to use the toilet. I called the restaurant numerous times and noone answered the phone. I went to the store around 9:00 A.M. The next morning and spoke to a gentleman who was introduced to me as the Supervisor without being given a name. He listened to my complaint and advised me that he was going to check his stock and the conditions and would call me back within 24 hours. I told him that I had retained the boxers in a plastic bag in case he wanted to have it analyzed but he declined. He also gave me a receipt with another number to reach him if I had not heard from him. To date, April 29, I have not heard from him nor has he returned the voice mail I left on the alternate number. My grandson lost a pair of jeans (Size 32/32 - from Old Navy $32), boxers (Men's Medium, and white socks which were badly soiled and missed a day of school because of feeling weak from the diarrhea. I am extremely upset and want to know how I can resolve this complaint with someone who cares that my grandson became ill after eating at McDonalds. We have eaten at that McDonalds numerous times for the last five years with no problem except the occasional misfilled order.
