I ordered something on line and have it ship to my house via USPS (not my choice).
They shipped my items, tracking is showing the package was delivered. Someone off the street had signed for it. I don't know who signed for it. At the time the package was delivered we both my wife and I were still at work.
How did this happen USPS?

Notice left 3:02 pm and 1 min later someone signed for it and it was not us. Obviously no one was at the house, so no body can come out of the house and signed for it.
Package was not insured and wroth roughly $150.00. Is it a write off for me or how can I go about making USPS pay for their stupidity?
Do I need to report to a local police for theft? Obviously the person who signed for my package know what they are doing and got away with it because of stupid USPS carrier.
