On March15th I paid via bank check a sum of $3.88 for an intructional disk to be mailed with internet income oportunities. I assumed Google was a respected sponsor, as I was told this call was through Google.
As of March 26th I had not received a disk, and the original site could not be accessed again, so I e-mailed the company and asked why the disk had not been received. The money ($3.88) was finally debited on March 29rd. The disk arrived around Mar 31st.
I called at 888-657-8585 regarding this charged of $72.21. I was informed that I could cancel 'membership', but no refund ok'd. I told them there had been no (observable) mention of a 'membership' and no description of what services might be covered by such membership, I verbally canceled the membership and was assured no further fees would be incurred. I was given a cancel confirmation. However I am out $72.21 with no service offered.
I called 'customer support' again and was told that I did not cancel the 'membership' in the allotted 7 day period of application. I told them that I am a senior and I should have a 60 day cancel privileged. They said no to this information. I only had seven days to cancel and I called them too late.
I asked that either the services be rendered and described or a full refund be made. On the phone a female voice seemed to be a robot with only one message repeated over and over -'You were told that you only had 7 days to cancel in your application - She also said they were a 3rd party company and had no autorization to refund or to explain the services.
I responded for the disk offer but never approved membership with this company that falsely used the Google name to draw me into their scheme.
