On April 24th workers at directel in Saskatoon came to work, only to find a note on the door that directel was closed and for further information they could contact a toll free number and a website address was also given. (Directel was owned by Websmart Interactive in Minot, North Dakota)
For Saskatoon employees Friday was pay day (not sure if it was pay day for the American centers) The workers did not receive their paycheques. Many people were left in the cold... Many have rent to pay, some have children, car payments and the list goes on.
Owner John Skowronek you don't have a brain do you? Did it ever occur to you to put money aside in case of an emergency such as this.instead you close the doors and leave many in situations nobody deserves to be in. My heart goes out to those who are hurting both financially and emotionally. But John you don't care because if you did you would have left us with the money to pay for our record of employments.
In a recent conversation I had with Buzz Stitzer he is and I quote "very confident we (meaning the former employees both in
Canada and the U.S.) will get paid" also he told me there is an "8 out of 10 chance" we will get paid. I'm not holding my breath.
As for Global and Vertex, we knew it was a scam and the only way to sell it was as a scam because if you didn't you walked out with 1 or 2 sales. We ripped off people everyday and now were getting ripped off by John and Buzz.
To all staff, your hard work and dedication didn't go unnoticed, it was very much appreciated. To John and Buzz, I hope your never granted another business license ever again.
