Continues to bill after you request cancel

I ordered skype in December. I had two accounts, one for me and one for my wife. I paid with my credit card for the first month and was surprised to see that the next month they billed my credit card automatically. Well no big deal, we liked skype and used it quite often to talk to our friends.

In February I went online to make a call and everything on my skype account was gone, my contaact list, my history, everything. I tried to log into my account and it would not let me. I contacted skype through an email they had sent me. Customer support was notified.in March nothing had been done and I still could not get on skype. I emailed them again to cancel. There is a link on their email to cancel. The problem is when you go there it does not let you cancel.in march they billed me again. I sent more emails to customer support telling them of the problems and asking them to cancel my account. They responded with, there is a place to cancel on the receipt page that is sent to you. I advised them, yes but it did not work, that is why i keep emailing you. April they charged me again. I cannot use skype and I cannot cancel. Today 04/23 I went on the page again and it let me cancel but they tell me it will not be until May 24. Skype is a ripoff in my book. They do not respond to customer problems. I still do not know what happened to my account or why. They string you along and continue to bill you even if you cannot use the service. They do nothing to fix it. They set up automatic billing without telling you. Beware if you have skype.
