Driver Recruiting/Placement says its. 06 cpm, the handbook says. 12 but I think thats if your getting 36-40 cpm.
"If you are enrolled in per diem, 12 cents of your pay or almost 1/3 can be non-taxable." Straight from the handbook!
So if your only at 13 cpm, 1/3 of that mmmmm roughly. 04!
500 miles $20.00
1000 miles $40.00
1500 miles $60.00
We obviously see a trend here, drive your but off for squat, when you add home bills and rent, not to mention 20.00 a week for the school loan Werner doesn't cover and the 70.00 for insurance that you get in the first 30 days, for me thats at least $400.00 I have to take home after these deductions.
5000 miles gives me $200.00 in diem, thats promised, supposedly I know, and thats if you run that many miles. I made a mistake joining Werner in Jan 09, not making the 2nd one by driving for pocket change.
