Transparency.
This is an important part of business when you want to recruit business partners. This is what Maxim lacks. Be honest with contractors from the begining, life will be much easier for everyone.

"We are dealing with companies that are have more inventory than they can handle"
"They will pay slow"
"Expect 10% of what you do correctly not to get paid"
"We dont really know what hazards are"
"There is no clear guildlines for compliance"
"Personal propery is only a definition that is realitive to the owner"
"We cannot prove to you that we have been paid or not been paid for your services"
"If we do not process your work in time, you will not be paid"
"If we ask for a favor, you will likely not get paid (even if we tell you to bill us directly).
"Expect an enormous tournover in our company. Then expect to hear from our ex-employees to tell you all about things that would have been nice to know a bit sooner"
If you ever feel that you are working for someone and getting advice from someone that is not as smart as yourself, run away.
Steve Maxim, not only a poor businesman but simply not a smart person. He should not be a teacher. He has too much to learn.
