This is for anyone looking to work for Steve Maxim or his brother Keith Maxim. I worked for them for 7 years and in the end found out they have used over $2,000, 000 of there contractors money as their personal piggy banks. They used our money to start bargainlocks.com and maximlocks.com. They have tried to say the banks haven't paid them so they can't pay their contractors but we found out this is not true and to make matters worse a few contractors had their lives ruined because they were never paid.
Steve Maxim is up for the Inc 500 award this year because the company did over $10 million but yet the contractors who performed the work get shafted and if you quit on him he keeps your money saying you screwed him yet you can't keep working for him because he doesn't pay. Keith isn't much better he is known to still other contractors bid work and do it himself. Both brothers took the money to start lock companies so the next time you go to order locks from them remeber all the contractors the screwed over.By the way Steve and Keith both own over $500,000 houses.
