On the evening of March 29th I hear a knock at the door. I open it to find an extremely friendly magazine salesman named Frank Lacko. He is so excited to tell me about his trip to Mexico that he is trying to win and to ask me how openminded I am. I say that I am and then he starts on his task of trying to sell a girl who never buys magazines a subscription. My fiancee comes in the hall from the other room and seems unmoved by the presentation but alas I was charmed and gave in. I agreed to purchase Sporting News (for my fiancee) because I didn't want anything for myself and gave the eager Frank cash and with receipt in hand happily sent him on his way.
Now a year and 3 angry phone calls later, find myself with no magazines and out $50.88. We moved in May but I called the # and gave them the new address and they happily assured me my magazines would be on their way to the new house soon. They never arrived at either home. I know the folks that live at the other residence as they are family and no magazines were sent ever to either place so I am very angry. I keep getting the answering service who takes a message and tells me someone will call within 24 hours but never does. I will be contacting the local news next. This is the last straw.
