I sent $70 fees via western union on 03/15. The money was sent from Georgia to my friend in New Jersey. When he went to collect the money he was told the MTCN number was incorrect.
I realized something funny had to be going on. When I contacted a wetern union one of their reprsetatives - ID#459- told me the money was paid to someone in Philadephia, Pensylvania and an investigation was being done. I got a letter saying the money was correctly paid and "the funds can be recovered from the individual who received the transaction" Note: the money was sent to New Jersey not Penn State. Wetern Union should know what is going on. People need to know that their money in not safe using western Union.
