I had money taken out of my checking account without my knowledge

I had applied on line for a short term loan. I had $31.85 taken out of my bank account without my knowledge. I am unaware of signing up for this service.

I feel this is a scam and wonder how many other people have been taken advantage of. I have contacted this company to try to get a refund. They stated they are investigating it and should refund my money in 72 hours. However because of this amount being withdrawn from my account I incurred an overdraft charge for $35 which I feel they should also refund me.
