I had taken my car in to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and to have my wiper blades replaced. I was even complimented on what good car I take of my vehicle by your staff. Come to find out upon leaving, that my vehicle which ran fine til I got there, now was making an strange noise. Not knowing cars, I thought maybe there was air in the oil line or something, and continued on my way. After 3-4 blocks, realized something was wrong, and turned around to head back. While in route back to the store, my engine seized. I called Jiffy Lube, and got hold of the manager who had been at lunch at the time, and he came out to the CarX where I pulled in. Both the manager and the CarX staff agreed, there had been no oil put into my car. The manager attempted to pour oil in, in the hopes of it unlocking but that failed. He then drove my wife and I back to the store, where I purposefully watched for any type of oil trail on the road or puddle in the Jiffy Lube parking lot. There was none. Arrangements were made for a rental car for me through Jiffy Lube, and the entire time I was nice and joking about it. Accidents happen after all.

Now how ever I am done being nice regarding this. The District Manager brought in his "unbiased" investigator whom never spoke with me, and turns out was fed a BS story about this large puddle of oil left in the parking lot when I left. The car repair shop where they towed my vehicle to be inspected, almost 20 miles away, who upon further review said that it WAS Jiffy Lube's fault, and even agreed to sign an affidavit to this effect.

The District Manager, has firmly said that they have no fault in the issue, based on the story of whomever he spoke to at the store, the manager that came to my vehicle is no longer employed there, and now the rental car charges have been reversed and I'm stuck with $400 car rental bill for the near 2 months I was without my car, even though I returned it weeks early before my car was actually ready, on top of the $4,000 for replacing the engine because of their failure to do the job. All in addition to them failing to replace the wiper blades even though they billed me for them. While the assistant manager there did take care of the two front ones, he failed to replace the back blade.insult to injury, the end cap on the wiper blades has fallen off and now the blades are useless as my engine was after getting an oil change at Jiffy Lube.

I wanted to let you know, what good care they have taken care of me in this situation.
