I worked as a vendor and hosted my own show for frank getting paid was the hard part. For money that was yours in the first place. This man had the nerve t come out in the middle of my show and steal a customer who was looking to by an exspensive stone from me.By telling them he had a better one for the same price or cheaper. So much for ethics. During another show i was doing a guest vendor who was supposed to co host told eveyone that he and he alone was my supplier of gems. Which was not anywhere close to the truth. When the manager at the studio called frank at home he couldnt be reached period.
After hearing this i decided to leave my show to the guest host, and walked out. To make a long story short i had to have attorneys ge some $16,000.00 owed for the show before this one. But i was still $6700.00 short in payment. Frank said they were in returns from customers. He mailed me a parcel but on advise of my attorneys i refused it because the return period was 4 months past at that point as well as the payment period in our agrement. My attorney said if you accept the parcel you are accepting full payment. Plus i didnt know what was or wasnt in the parcel.
I have been selling on tv for 20 yrs. Never a problem with any customers, and i have never had $6700.00 in returns from any where. Still waiting for the rest of my money frank. What about this honesty or integrity yor selling these days. I only need $6700.00 worth. Frank knew that it would cost me more in attorneys fees to come to duluth to collect than the amount to be collected. Its a game that they play with vendors. Im not alone.
