Rip-off Makes Deals They Won't Honor False Promises The Business That Doesn't Give A Damn

We are in the process of receiving a substantial amount of money and were looking for a new vehicle to purchase. The transaction is in the process of being finalized and was told the money should be here within a few weeks from the Government.

We have been looking at different dealerships in the area as we are shopping for the best deal for our money.

We went to Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet on Oct. 30 to get a price comparison to a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer that we were given by another local dealer. After talking to the salepeople, we were told that they had a trailblazer on the lot that was loaded with extras that we weren't originally going to purchase. We were offered a "DEAL" for that particular vehicle by Frank.

The "DEAL" was that if we would take that vehicle on the lot, as it was... Cheaper than the last one we were quoted and that they would let us "TAKE" the vehicle "NOW"... And they would "WAIT" until our money got here to finalize the paperwork... Frank said our shopping would be over... They would make a sale... We would have a new vehicle to take home and also take advantage of the rebate that was expiring on the 31st.

This sounds like a great "DEAL"! We were certain to mention to Frank that we were not sure of the exact date our money would arrive but it was definately at the payment center... We told him we were told it could possibly be 4 weeks until it was deposited into our account. He informed us that it "DIDN'T MATTER" they could hold it as long as we made the deal.

Now here it is 2 weeks later and they are demanding that we either pay for the vehicle or bring it back and they would "HOLD" it until our money came. THIS WAS NOT THE DEAL!!!

I informed Dennis who is Frank's boss, that Frank made the deal with us. We kept our end of the deal by accepting it and watching the bank account every day to see if it had been credited yet. We also informed him that Frank had told us that it didn't matter how long they had to wait and Dennis informed us "YES IT DOES MATTER" WELL again that is not the "DEAL" that was made. Dennis said that Frank told him we assured him that the money would be there in a few days... THIS WAS A DELIBERATE LIE!

Today we went to Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet to confront them about all this mess. We talked to Dennis, who in turned asked Frank if he knew the money was not going to be there in a few days and he said "NO"... I was furious, I told him that Frank was lying as he knows what we told him. One of the salespeople, Paula who was in on part of the deal said she didn't care if she lost her job over this but we were telling the truth in saying that Frank was told we didn't know when the money would be there. She verified what I had said was true.

Well in the end Dennis went to speak to Tom, who is over him and came back saying the "DEAL" was off and returned our trade in to us. I have never been treated like this in my life... If these employees will lie about a customer what else are they capable of? Is this any way to treat a customer? If they treat customers like this, what is their service going to be like?

These are all questions you should ask yourself before dealing with DALE EARNHARDT CHEVROLET in NEWTON. NC

The big selling point from them is that they would do "ANYTHING" to keep local business from going elsewhere... After this I am not sure what "ANYTHING" means. Does it mean that you should do business with DALE EARNHARDT CHEVROLET IN NEWTON. NC to get the "DEAL" jerked away from you after you have had the vehicle for 2 weeks?

Believe me, the Chevrolet Trailblazer is a wonderful vehicle and I do intent to own one in the very near future... But I sure in the HELL will never go back to DALE EARNHARDT CHEVROLET and anyone that reads this should be on your guard...

Dale earnhardt chevrolet will not stand behind their deals!
