This started about 2 years old. DCS started sending me letters - each letter would say I owed old Virginia State taxes for different years. The first was for 1984 - and believe it or not I actually still have my old tax return for 1984 and I was paid a refund. Next letter was for different years - same scenerio. I sent them back certified letters (but would not give them copies of my tax returns)... Almost a year has gone by and now they are back again - this time saying I owe almost $2700 for 1993 and/or 1994. They have said that I have 2 days until they decide whether to place a lien or garnishment on me.
