I bite into steven swanson theory of not paying any taxes. Which sounded like a great idea. I didn't understand how it all worked but he told me all i have to do is file zero on all of your returns. Send it to him and he would take care of the rest. So five years later i get this letter from him in the mail saying he would be going to prison for tax evasion. So i cut all ties with him, and started the LONG process of filing my back taxes for 5 years. After i got all of my back taxes fiqured out i owed the irs and state 110,000. Tried to make a offer in compromise the irs rejected my offer. So this whole theory forced me into filing a chapter 13 which i'm still going through. It's ruined my life my credit as well as everything else you can think of.
