When they're mismanaged. I purchased a i835 and used it TWICE. Upon turning it on for the third time, the lens opened, but the camera failed to continue to operate. I called Polaroid to ask for assistance. The woman above proved less-than-helpful... Almost accusatory. She was looking for reasons to blame me for the camera's failure. Ultimately she did, saying I'd used "the wrong batteries." (Nothing states specific brand must be used). She was fishing. She said she'd send me an email with return information, but she couldn't guarantee if the camera would be "fixeded" (that's what she said) or replaced. She volunteered there is no time line for return. (I'm assuming this depends upon how long it takes to get someone else's parts from a broken camera)? I never received the email. I had to call back and correct her spelling error. I'll NEVER buy anything from this bunch again!
