I've applied 3 times for unemployment compensation benefits and get letters stating the amount I'm getting and to continue to claim my weeks on schedule. I do this and don't receive anything. I call the agency and get the same thing, a recording that a representative is not available. I have been unemployed since 10/25, discharged from a manufacturing plant because my car broke down and could not make it in. I called my supervisor and explained my situation, and I got fired. So I applied for unemployment and get the runaround. I can't reach a representative, I go on the website and it says I have no weeks to claim. I e-mail and get no response. I worked hard 12 hours a day at this plant and payed my taxes and have a family to support, bills. I am getting ripped off of my benefits. I need my benefits to find a new job and eat, let alone expenses to seek employment. I going to be homeless soon.
