Do NOT believe anything in Direct TV's ads. They lie! I was told I could tape 2 shows while watching a third, I can't. I even asked about it when I signed up & was told yes I could do that. Called them about it and was told I was misinformed.
I had a referral for which I & my referral were to get $5/month credit for 6 months. My first bill came & no referral credit. I called again & was told I needed to call a special number to sign up or no referral. Seems I was misinformed again!
Their customer service sucks! And the satellite service sucks, bad picture, goes blank for no reason, takes forever to come back on after a power failure.
Save yourself the headache & use Dish Network. They're not perfect but at least they don't lie to you & trick you into signing up for their crappy service.
