Mr. George Beck of Jordan & Beck collected $3500 from one of our customers. We did not find this out until 2 years later when we listed the account with another collection agency.
When we contacted Mr. Beck about this, with proof that the payment went into his bank account, he stated that he was not the owner and that she had since died. Therefore, there was no way for us to collect the money.
The strange part is that he had called us one month prior our "discovery" using the Jordan & Beck name to try to collect money from us for another company. Also, his name is in the company name.
At this point we are taking legal action, but Mr. Beck is indeed a slippery, shady individual, making it difficult to recover our funds.
My recommendation: NEVER use this collection agency or any agency Mr. Beck is associated with. Also, if you are in collections and Mr. Beck is attempting to collect money from you take caution.
As it stands, we show no payments received on the company he collected from, therefore they are still in collection. There is no guarantee that the money he collects from you will be paid to the company, and your debt will not be paid in full.
