If you like to spend your money and several hours trying to resolve the problems that comes along with Majic Jack then go ahead and buy one.
My biggest mistakes, besides purchasing this device, is I had my New Phone Number printed on my advertising literature, letterhead and give aways. Now Majic Jack will not stand by what they advertise.
It worked for about three months, Like a bad cell connection, and all of a sudden quit. I spent at least six hours on my (cell phone) with Majic Jack trying to resove the problem, with no success. All they did is gave me the runaround, Try this, Try another phone, Download this file, Delete this file, Reboot ect ect ect. Then they transfer me to another person and it starts all over again. Then when the problem still couldn't be resolved that person would transfer me to yet another person and, IT, starts all over again.
I even offered to purchase a new one as long as I could keep the same Phone Number. They said that could not be done.
So, if you like hours of frustration and throwing your money away, go ahead and make the purchase.
