My whole ordeal began with them back in September when I began leasing an 18 wheeler from them. This was my first time leasing a truck so, naturally I was wet behind the ears. I had been a commercial driver at that point 10 yrs., and figured I was ready to buy my own truck. After the first 3 months of having the truck I wondered why I wasn't making any money. For those two months I kept making changes to find where my mistake was. I found the mistake, but it wasn't me! They were counting miles and calculating my pay, making sure that after my truck note I wouldn't have any $ to take home. February I built my home and by November I was three months behind on my mortgage. On January5 I filed Chpter 13 to get caught up on my mortgage, and WSE contacted me to tell me that I had breached my lease agreement and they needed to get the truck back from me. I was furious and I contacted the lawyer in charge of my Chap 13 case he reviewed my contract and advised WSE to leave me alone because my case had nothing to do with them, it only involved my home. They no longer harrassed me in that way but they did not allow me to make much money for the next 3 yrs. I struggled through and by the GRACE of GOD made enough money to keep food, car insurance, and gas in the family vehicle. I came to within 6 months of paying off my lease and they began to tighten the reigns!!! I would haul 2-3 loads a week for about 1500- 1800 miles / week and only grossing $600-$800 before expenses. After all my deductions I was in the whole and owed them for truck notes and insurance. The straw that broke the camels back was when they had me hauling a small amount of HAZMAT that was not listed on the Bills that delivered at Wal-mart in Henderson, NC. Then they gave me a false dispatch to p/u in Charlotte, NC, knowing full well there wasn't a load for me. I don't hold my dispatcher at fault because she said she is only doing what she has been told to do. They jerked me around for about 4 hrs. That morning saying they will look into it and call me back in 30 min. I called them at least 3 time each hour to find out what the deal was, only to have the same song repeated to me. After, 4hrs. They called saying there isn't a load there go to Columbia, SC. What!!! I was furious after deadheading from Henderson, NC (near VA state line) all the way to Charlotte, NC, only to be told to drive to Columbia, SC. I had to spend my money to drive 266 mi to p/u a load! I was determined to get away from these nuckle heads after spoke to, y insurance agent who knew a guy who owned his own truckning company. I called him to ask for advice how to deal with WSE without losing my investment. He eventually said you need for someone to pay off your truck for you. He said he would pray about it and do what GOD revealed for him to do. He paid off my truck and I thought I was free from those crooks at WSE, but I wasn't. I had a repair balance of about $2700. They couldn't get this other guy to pay his balance, so they conveniently added it to mine. I have all my statements from when I worked for them and even statements they sent clearly showing the person's name and driver number associated with the extra balance. They filed a suit against me for $6500, I submitted copies of my documentation as proof to the lawyers office and even have certified receipt of when it was sent and a tracking number to view when it was delivered. But the attorney denied ever receiving this information. They served me 3 times and one of those replies didn't reach the court in time and the exploited the system. They were awarded a judgement they garnished my wife's wages (I'm not working but going to school), they froze my checking account, and now they are trying to take my family vehicle to cure this debt. I have called and told them I will pay my portion but no more! I have never denied that I owe them money I even wrote them a letter ackowledging I owe them the $2700. I almost lost my wife and 5 children through this whole thing, I lost my home, and my credit went from A to D. They have taken alot from me and I have had enoough of there crap!!!
