Lost paperwork to close out IRA CD

WaMu lost my paperwork I sent via certified mail to close out my IRA CD. All they would do to resolve this was put in a "request" for someone to "look in to it". Meanwhile, my identity is at risk. I wanted to send a letter to Stephen Rotella but was told they had been instructed not to give out his mailing address. The funds are still in the CD, but I am past the 10-day deadline to get the funds so the CD has renewed for another 6 months. Even if they find the paperwork at this time, I might be locked into waiting until the next time the CD matures (due to Federal regulations - isn't nanny government wonderful?).
