A "Don Johnson" called and introduced himself as being from Toner Factor, Inc., the company we receive our toner cartridges from. He told me that he was calling to finish an order that we had ordered last year that couldn't be completed. (I later found out from the previous secretary that she had placed no such order.)
He called me several times over the following week to "verify" information and even told me once that the price had increased but I would still receive last year's price. He even had our correct old mailing address from last year that needed to be "updated." He asked me to give the invoice to our bookkeeper immediately.
I received an invoice (printed from any home computer with a regular stamp on the envelope) for $778.00-which was outrageous for the price. Did some research and found it was a scam. Never sent them a penny. Glad I caught it. Hopefully this will help someone else catch it too. They are calling all over the state of Idaho at the present (February).
Do not mail any payments to this company!!!
