Qitel added services of voice mail to my telephone account, despite the fact that I have a password that is suppose to prevent this.
When I contacted them at 800 361 4793 I was told they would remove the services but I must pay the $56.55 bill. My answer was b—S&. I immediately called my phone comapy (SBC) and explained the problem and they said they would send the charges back to Qitel.
As far as the password protection at SBC, I was told that the charges are sent electroniclly and the phone company has no way of knowing if I approved it or not. I'd bet SBC gets a percentage of these charges!
To whom does one write to get this type of scm STOPPED? It is my mission to get these people shut down!
