Complaint / Review
Congress, State Of Maryland And State Farm Insurance, Governor Martin O'Malley
Failing to Follow the Letter of The Law. Annapolis, Distgrict of columbia

Sunday, January 04
In regards to: A Request a hearing on Family Bailout
Dear Congressional Leaders:

My name is Derrick S. Axxxx Sr. I am a victim of two counts of attempted murder and hit and run that occurred on 01/25. Since my misfortune, I have been constantly trying to get justice for my wife and children as well as myself. I have been unemployed since 11/09.

I applied for SSI and they denied me twice. Frustrated and tired of hearing more and more about fatal hit and run accidents, I decided to do something that will help others; I founded Dads Against Hit and Run Drivers or D.A.H.A.R.D. This is an organization geared toward hit and run victims that will assist them in getting their life back. Depending on their injuries, my organization will do all it can to insure they get what they should and regain employment.

I am writing to Congress, Senators and Representatives to change the laws when it comes to hit and run accidents by forcing insurance companies to honor legitimate claims and not use State loopholes to defraud policyholders as well as enforce laws when they are broken.

On January 25 at 5:34am, I called 911 to report a hit and run incident and later reported to Maryland State Trooper Ray Johnson, who took the case, the description of the man driving the car that hit my car. Later Trooper Ray Johnson falsified his report stating a woman, age 73, was the driver after his investigation showed that in fact the owner Mr. Reginald Emmanuel Hatten was the driver.

In a conversation with Trooper Ray Johnson on 08/30, he informed me that he never got a statement from the woman on 08/07. I told him that I was trying to get the Hattens charged with two counts of attempted murder. Trooper Ray Johnson, working out of Maryland State Police Aviation Command Norwood Section 16501 Norwood Road Sandy Spring, Maryland 20860, quit his job because he covered up two counts of attempted murder and failed to investigate my claims I feel because I am black.

In addition, State Farm Insurance Company needs to have their business licenses terminated and the Department of Justice should do a full investigation. I believe they should freeze State Farm's assets and do a thorough probe into their insurance practices. Congress needs to step up and be For the people, by the people not just Big Business. I am requesting a hearing to address this matter.
