I responded to an e-mail and was directed to the web site for Advance Wellness Research Inc. I accepted a 15 day free trial for the cost of shipping. $4.99. They did in fact send the trial product. Nine days later it was received.
Only 4 days after we received the product our debit card was charged $78.81 for an entire months supply. At that time we were afraid that the company would charge our debit card again. We contacted our bank JP Morgan Chase and cancelled our debit card. We were advised by the bank to pursue the problem with the company. That is what we did.
The company Advance Wellness Research Inc now informs us that they have no way of getting our money back. I suppose they have forgotten how to write a check and mail it to my address! We will not stop until this company is shut down! What a disgrace for internet sales companies that are ligitimate.
There was NO small print on their web site that said that we were in fact becoming a member and would be billed monthly for their product. This company illigally debited my bank account and the bank can do nothing. I disagree. A complaint will be filed with the office of Charles Rice. Financial Institution for the state of Kentucky. We are only now finding out that the bank could have reversed the charges within 60 days of the illigal activity.
