I am in the same situation as Eileen from Phoenix, AZ. I thought of selling my timeshare so responded to an ad that I received through e-mail. When this Matthew Hebb called he was very friendly and persuasive. Saying that their "one time fee" of $986.00 was for everything. Marketing, listing on their web site, handeling any rental or sale and closing cost. Like Eileen I thought about it for several days and checked the BBB web site also, they looked repuitable.
However, unlike Eileen I did not check back with them until several weeks ago (January 09), as I was more interesed in renting my timeshare than selling. I tried to contact them when I decided to use my week for this year. I sent them a letter informing them that I was using my week, and 5 days later received my letter back marked "undeliverable and no fordwarding address". It seemed very strange as I had just looked at their web site the first of December. Decided to look at their web site again and in searching found the Rip Off web site and Eileen's report, and surprise, surprise their web site is no longer active. Tried to call and heard the message all lines are busy and after several tries kept hearding the same message.
I am now in the process of reporting this to the BBB and contacting my credit card company to see if anything can be done about it; but I signed my contract 6 months ago and it's probably lost money. This is indeed one big ripoff company, timeshare owners beward.
