Deceptive, overcharged, customer service sucks

I researched a Canon lens for my new camera, and found it for a good price at soniccameras.com. A salesman called me the next day to tell me that the lens I ordered was unavailable, but a better lens, brand new, just arrived and he could send it to me for the same price. The lens arrived, but it was a Sigma, not a Canon.
I checked the lens out at a local camera shop and it retails for $200. I was charged $685! I called Customer Service several times, constantly being trasfered to voicemail. I finally spoke with someone a month after I recieved the lens, which they refuse to take back because I missed the 7 day return period. But they won't accept a return without a refund code, which you can't get unless you talk to someone in customer service.
Unfortunately I did not research this company before I made my purchase. The BBB has numerous complaints, and now I find this web site.
I am still out quite a large sum of money. The BBB has been unsuccesful in helping me resolve this issue.
