Good afternoon Mr. Mandell and John Ourisman,

My name is George Fredrick Francois and I am writing to you today because of an ongoing issue.

I first initiated business with Ourisman Mitsubishi on September 12. I came into the dealership looking for a Mitsubishi Galant. I was approached by a car dealer named Jimi who assisted me in filling out all my paper work. Jimi was running out of the door and handed my paperwork off to Mike McGraff (not sure if this is the spelling of his name). I then put down $1,500 and I was approved after about 1 weeks. I placed the word approved in quotation marks because I did not receive a car after this time.

When I called Mike McGriff to ask about my car, he told me that due to the credit crisis, all the banks were running a little slow on putting deals together and that once he gave the bank a call, he would see where the deal was and that it might be a while before the deal was done due to the credit crisis. I waited for about 1 more month and demanded a refund. I was finished waiting on the deal to materialize and I wanted my money back. I have now been waiting for 4 months and received neither car nor refund. I initially put down $1,500.00 and was told that I had to put down an extra $395 for the bank fee. So, a total of $1,895 is due to me.

I had called about 2 weeks prior and was told that I could take Ourisman to court and we could deal with this refund that way because both Jimi and Mike McGraff are no longer employees of Ourisman.

. My lawyer has advised me that I should try this method first and if nothing comes of it, I could then seek alternate means of getting my money back. I spoke with Sudip Gupta today and he informed me that I was not given the correct receipt and that Mike had given me a purchase order. As a customer, I am unaware of what type of paperwork I am supposed to be given when I walk into a place of prestige, such as Ourisman Mitsubishi. Mr. Gupta then informed me that there is a possibility that I would not be getting any of my money back. I informed him that I have receipts, text messages, paperwork from Ourisman, a witness that came with me to the dealership several times during this deal and even bank statements that correlate with everything I have listed above. Mr. Gupta then informed me that nothing may come of this.

When Mr. Gupta informed of this, I started to contact several people within MD government, the BBB and media to find out what I can do to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. All I really want is my refund of $1,895.
