I'm not one who is easily scammed and when this pretty young girl who called herself Jennifer came knocking, I was skeptical. She gave me the song and dance about earning points to win a trip to England to study and was so engageing that I figured what the heck, I'll give her some bucks and just chalk it up to whatever.
The funny thing is, we got to talking and we had so much in common, and she mentioned G. Street in MD where she took an interior design course. I know this place. She probably actually did go there. She even gave me good tips on how to decorate my living room, which needs it.in this respect, I guess I could say I paid for her advice at least.
Anyway, she talked me into paying her for several "books to go to children's causes". I've actually been through this a couple of times before with other kids through the years... Same spiel, and figured I was just paying young enterprising kids. "Jennifer" talked for a couple HOURS (!)... She is definately not a happy girl. Still, when she left, I looked up mydynasty and saw the scam reports, so I called my bank and cancelled my check. I tried leaving a message on mydynasty.com and it didn't go through. I was taken, but so was she. These kids are being taught to scam and steal. My Dynasty needs to be stopped, if for that reason alone.
