I am at wits end. I have attempted to work with this company and they are impossible to work with. I have lived in my house for nearly 7 years. I am not a slug or someone who neglects their responsibility. My wif and I are professional and both are professional with nearly 10 years of college, were not looking for a handout, nor am I attempting to get out of my mortgage but I am watching my principal amount increase monthly instead of going down. Late fees, administrative fees etc are now approaching $ 13,000.00 dollars and I cant get them to send me an itemized amount of why it keeps going up. I cant even get them to return my phone calls, I recently called and asked for 2 different males that I had spoken to a couple of times in the past and they told me that they were all off that day and I hung up and called back and one of the men I asked for answered the phone (let me add this is the CUSTOMER SERVICE department), he put me on hold and switched me to another one that I had requested and everyone in the room was laughing, he told me he was getting a bad connection and told me to call back later. I have also been behind on my taxes one year and let my insurance policy expire, when this was discovered i immediately paid the tax bill and resumed my home insurance, but soon recieved a bill for the entire amount that I had just paid with additional fees and was told they had forced escrow on me and raised my monthly mortgage payment by $ 200.00 dollars, I faxd them reciepts of paid taxes and insurance premium and they told me they never recieved the fax and had in the meantime charged me for future taxes and future insurance premiums totalling about $ 6,000.00 dollars and they were going to force another escrow on me and raised my mortgage payment by another $ 600.00 dollars, now almost doubling my original payment, I asked for a modification loan and they told me they could do it but told me it had to be done by the end of the month in 4 days and they told me that they needed to recieve it by mail also as well as a fax, I told them that deadline would be near impossible but i would try, when i recieved it was full of errors - the address was wrong, the refinanced amount was wrong and disputed, our names were wrong. I called them and told them it was in error, they told me to send it anyway and they would fix it once I had signed it. Needless to say I didnt do that, I asked for another modification and was told that I would have to wait 6 months and soon after that recieved a short letter that stated if I could find another company to finance me they would take nearly 10% off my principal. 3 months later I have been trying to contact them and cannot get anyone to address another modification loan. Recently, I recieved another letter in the mail stating that a payment I made by check had been returned for non-sufficient funds with more late fees and was told I may be forcing foreclosure soon. I checked with my bank and indeed the bank draft went through and the money went to nationstar but they will not acknowledge the latest payment. I am sure I will be recieving another notice with more late fees etc. These are only a few things in the many years I have encountered. And from this point on I have made up my mind that I will do whatever it takes to halt his monster and seek justice. At the very least, I would love to sit down in front of their representative and tell them of the Hell they have put me through. This beast must be stopped and I encourage anyone with similar problems to do the same and not stop till we are collectively told YES that this company has done you wrong.
