I can't believe I fell for this scam! I'm an educated, professional woman and I fell for this. I should have known something wasn't right when they wanted money after telling me that it was free to be included in their Who's Who directory.
At least I realized this when they called me back months later wanting more money to be included in their hard cover book directory. They wanted almost $800.00 for that, and when I told them I wasn't interested, they got quite aggresive and hostile. I ended up hanging up on the woman that called, as she would not take no for an answer.
The only reason I found out this company is a complete fraud was by accident. I had decided to post a picture on the website only to find there is no website. No matter how I tried to find it, nothing would come up. All the phone numbers given to me when I signed up are all disconnected and the email address I had is no longer usable. I then saw a web article about Cambridge's fraudulent practices and decided I needed to let more people know about this.
I'm sure I'll never see a dime of my money and I just feel so foolish for being conned. If I can help just one person regarding this company and keeping them from making the same mistake I did I might feel a little better.
Do not, I repeat, do not give any company any money when it is originally stated that it is free. The minute they ask for money hang up and report them.
