I already contacted Global Gate & was denied my claim of no tour leader. Facts: The tour was advetised as "escorted".
The 1st day in Tokyo we had to read our paperwork & show up in the lobby of the hotel without any guidance. We were picked up for a tour of Tokyo, after which we were dropped off at a train station & had to find our own way back to the hotel including a 10-minute walk at night! The next day we again had to consult our paperwork to see what was happening & what time we had to meet where. Thereafter we were only met by temporary guides, still no tour leader. That is not an escorted tour, many of which I have been on around the world.
