An offer for a pre-approved credit card was mailed to my home. There was no telephone contact information. The instructions was to enclose a membership fee of $37.00 by check or money order along the the activation form.
I was suspcious, therefore, I went on line and found a story of a person who apparently received a letter exactly like the one I received. I was pleased to learn that this scam had been previously reported.
