I read in horror the listings on "Ripped off" accounts of Rock Tops Granite. I could not believe the same thing was happening to me. I have deal with many companies and this is the first time that I have run across a company that completly disregards customer satisfaction. It all began when I was remodeling my home. My agent recommended this company from an adv they were running in a local paper. I visited the show room and the rep seemed friendly and nice - I choose about $5k of granite and it was to be installed the week before Thanksgiving. Well that deadline came and went. I called repeatedly and they simply ignored my calls. The terms called for paid in full before scheduling, I thought that was a bit odd but after looking them up on the internet, they appeared ok, so I gave them my credit card to charge the material and labor. They did deliver my kitchen counter tops and it was installed properly, but they mis-measured my bath vanities and had to reorder. I tried calling the store many times no answer. I finally got the manager in Michigan and he promised quick action. Finally they were supposed to install on the 23rd of December - after promising to be here the week of Thanksgiving. I read the same story over and over in usacomplaints.com
I wish I had read it before I gave them my money - be warned! I am contacting the State Attorney Generals office for action on this. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy! Merry Christmas
