Well, after I questioned Claire, who answered the phone given at the bottom of the letter, I decided to look this up on the internet.
Why would they send you a check to deposit and then have it clear YOUR bank and then you are to send them the SAME amount as the check to them via Moneygram (the $ is supposedly to cover handling, etc. Costs!). The ONLY reason to go thru this process is so they can EASILY get your banking information in order to wipe you out!!!
DO NOT fall for it!
The letter CERTAINLY looks official, of course, and Claire certainly SOUNDS official... Totally bogus, I AM sure!
Try calling 450-675-3761 and mention you received this winner notification letter and just listen to all the lies she tells you. Not one word is true... Beware!
