Reader's Digest 3rd prize winner Marmet, West Virginia

I received a letter telling me that I was the 3rd prize winner for the annual readers Digest Sweepstake and that my winnings would amount to a total of $65,000. There was a check enclosed in the envelope for $3,056.75 which they said was to cover handling, insurance, duties and tax fees.
The only number listed in the letter was that of "Michael Phillips" Director of Claims 514-574-7153. When I called that number a French-speaking message came up. I looked on the Internet and called another number for Readers Digest Claim Services and, again, a French-speaking message came up.
The $3056.75 check was drawn on Chase Manhattan Bank, New York, NY and was from Diebold Financial Services Inc., 5995 Mayfair Road, North Canton, Ohio 44720. I have not looked this company up to see if it really exists yet.
