Looks like a major scam - central coast nutraceuticals acai

I too made the mistake of buying a small bottle of Acai from Central Coast.

I had stomach cramps after third day and stopped use. Stomach cramps stopped. Coincidence?

I did not return balance due to ship cost and marked it down to bad choice

Then I found a $44 charge from the company on Dec 8. Credit card. I tried calling company but continually put on hold and disconnected.

I cancelled my credit card. Though to make matters worse, there was an additional $12.95 charge from another company who I had no dealings with. At least this company answered. I was told binfo was given by third party. I did not agree to any such thing or to this company who I never heard of. They would not tell me name of 3rd party though I suspect it was Central Coast since only new vendor used plus I read similar report on other sites.

Anyway, I wrote numerous emails. I finally got return acknowledging cancellation of FUTURE orders (not that I had ordered). Of course, they can't bill since account closed. They completely ignored questions I listed.

Though they then offered me $15 to keep product I haven't received... Though said recently shipped.

Funny that it was shipped right now 12-22 - after numerous emails - when they billed 12-8.

Also on first shipment of small size. They immediately sent and backed with notice that it was sent and due in a few days which is normal business practice. If I hadn't checked my card, they probably would have charged more.

I did NOT order more of their unacceptable product. I did NOT get shipping notice when they billed on 12-8. They appear to have tricky practice hidden. I'll be traveling and there will be no one here to pick up packages plus many people claim they are billed but never receive. Those who do and return get socked with large re-stock.

This truly appears a scam. There are numerous reports of similar experience on the internet. Just imagine how many more don't post.

How can this company's practices be stopped? How can I get refund?
