I received a letter stating that I won "The Big Game" and that my numbers 2-11-22-51-52 and Mega Ball 52 resulted in matching 5 numbers for a total of $250,000.
They stated that my cooperation is mandatory and meant to satisfy all official laws and protocol mandated by Federal and State regulations on gambling winnings.
They sent me a live check worth $4,910 which I have not cashed as the bank is located in Florida and the address on the check is from M.W. Glick in Ocean City, Maryland. My first inclination that it was a scam was that they put Susan F. Richards on the check and my middle name begins with an E.
This is very upsetting being that I have lost my job, am doing my best to make ends meet by working long, hard hours at a department store during the holiday season. It is so disapointing to know that their are thieves out there ripping off innocent, hard-working people. It really tests ones faith in humanity. These criminals need to be stopped.
If you need copies of the letter, the check or any information, I will be happy to provide them to you.
Thanks.
