Defraud trusting comsumers desperate to improve their lives and in great need of improving their income

I am like the rest of you. I am a single mother of two, 100% disabled, with a dead beat ex-husband, desperately trying to find a way to make money from home, so I can pay my bills, on time. I wasn't looking for the pot at the end of the rainbow, just enough to pay my bills, and have a little left over to get my kids through community college, and maybe take them out to eat (somewhere other than McDonalds) once every couple weeks.

These people have a distinctive pattern. You have been on the internet looking at work from home businesses. These people bought the list with your interests and information, from the other sites you inquired at. The pitch is that they will set you up with your own business on the web, and all the drop shippers you could ever want, long with 24/7 helpline, to help you set up your web site, a shopping cart with their credit card and financial Well my fiance' and I decided to try this, and he is very computer saavy. They had me sign a contract with Start Up Essentials.

Very simple contract, outlining what they had to do, to perform on this contract, and for setting you up in your own we computer web based home business, we were to pay $178 a month for three years.in this contract is states that they will supply the ratty computer everyone got, preloaded with all the different programs and information we would need. We told them we did not want their computer, that we had just purchased a new laptop few weeks before.

I was told that the computer was included with the start up package, and that they preferred you use their computer for your business, and keep your personal things on your own computer. When I signed the contract electronically, I signed in 2 places, my full name, no initials. I copied and saved the contract to my documents, and never opened it and read it until I was having problems. Hen I did open it, they had copied my signature to number of places requiring initials, along with copying my signature to contract with A-1 Leasing, for a non-descript computer.

The Start Up Essemntials contract did not have anything in it to bind you if they did not perform on thjeir end, but the A-1 Leasing contract is a complete other storyu. Very binding with severe penalties. This is the type of contract that noone with any sense would be a party to. I guess thats whyh we were all fraujded and our signatures copied onto it. I contacted the attorney general in my state, North Carolina, they had less than a dozen complaints, so they decided not to file a class action in NC, and for me to join in with the class action case in Texas.

They also told me to tell anyonme who calls waanting money that they are harrssing you and not to call back. They can go into the credit bureaus and screw your good credit up. According to the Attorney General all we can do is write our credit bureaus and anyone you may be trying to get a loan through, explain what happened and they would probbly ignore the report from A-1. But they cannot attach a lein to your property, a judge would never award on such a blatenly fraudulent contract, and if they tried, it would add to a criminal case against them.

Please be aware that the collection agency that is charging such outrgeous fees is owed by them as well. If you are having problems with them, write a complaint and file it with the attorney general of your state. Find out if they have or are going to have a class action suit against them. Then join into it or olne with another state. I know I was contacted by them, as part of a settlement agreement to see if I wanted to be part of the cash settlement, but the award was ridiculous.

If you had quit paying them, you had to bring it current thru May and then you would be awarded 3 months of payments back to you. I would have spent more to bring it current then I would have received back, so I dropped out. But don't be bullied by them, and report to every agency you can in your state. They have yet to make good on any threat. I have yet to read in here, anyone who they have gone to court on for the A-1 contract, and of course no cases have been won.

Make good records of all phone calls and letters, who called, date and time, duration of the call, and what they said. Last time they called here, lst week, I told them I had not signed a contract, and I could prove it was forged, and that I was talking to the feds about a case to go after them.

They could not hang up fast enough. Good Luck, god bless and Here's hoping we cause them as much grief as they have caused us.
