I responded to an online ad on Career Builder for Eagle Vision Inc. Thinking it was a legitimate job.
The interview process was short, I tried to ask questions but the man interviewing me danced around what I asked with excuses and false opportunity.
They claim to work with non profit organizations and he would not answer my questions about salary or benefits and said it would be left for the second interview with the hiring manager. He said to stay by my phone because if they called me to offer me the second interview and I didn't answer they'd move on to someone else.
Yeah right.
So Like an idiot I did just that and of course they called me and asked me to come in and to make myself available until 6:45pm if it all went well I'd know if I was hired by the end of the day.
The TRUTH is they take you out on the field and they sell D.A.R. E shirts and your income is based on what you sell their is no steady income at all! No benefits.
Their office was suspiciously empty, I should have known better.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Seriously. I've been job hunting and got my hopes up for nothing. It's heart breaking companies can pray on innocent working class citizens trying to get a job, a legitimate job.
I was up for learning marketing, but clearly this isn't marketing. It's bulls*t in the simplest form.
How can these places get away this??
