I unfortunately fell victim to Green Impulse Marketing and went to my interview. I was excited about this company because they claimed to be a PR and Marketing firm, which is my career field. The first questionable thing I noticed was that their name was no where to be seen on the building or in their office. It was as if they were hiding themselves. I waited for my interview in the waiting room with about 10 other people my age and was finally taken into the office for my interview. The second weird thing I noticed was that the office room was completely empty except for an office desk and chair. That was it, nothing else. It was as if they can just get up and leave if they ever got caught for their lies. I had a VERY quick interview. They didn't want to see my portfolio and their main concern was that I was on board even though I was given no information about their company. I tried asking questions about the job and they tip-toed around my questions, always trying to get off track and make sure I was on board. I was then told that if they like me they would narrow it down to two people and I would come in the next day for a second interview. I was happy to hear I got the second interview but unhappy to see the same people in the waiting room the next day. Hmmmm, another lie. They then told me we would go on "location" for the job. They took me to Hope Depot and told me I would be selling cabinets on a commission based salary. I was completely lied to. They tried convincing me that I would be making hundreds of thousands of dollars. Yeah right. They wasted my time, my gas and 2 days of life I will never get back.
