I made the mistake of looking into The Grant University's programs for help with my mortgage. I agreed to a $1.98 charge for their Disk and Shipping which I never received. Wasn't happy with the so-called website. They Charged me $69.95. Cancelled the service day after the charge hit my bank. Of course they promised a Free $25 gift card to Walmart and and $100 Gas Card. Never got these either.
What I did get were two companies, EasySaver and American Leisure, sending me a info book and they charged we $1.00 for each out of my bank account which caused to overdraft fees of $35 each. I promptly called the numbers they provided in the fine print and told the gentleman that these were unauthorized charges to my account. So far I have received 1 credit from them, waiting for the other.
Now I just checked my bank account this morning (Sunday) and here is someone I have never even heard of trying to steal $29.95 from my account. I never authorized this charge period. I am positive the Grant University is selling my bank info to anyone and everyone they can. Rip off artists unite!
From this point I am calling the police here in my home state and filing a fraud complaint of all four companies.
