First of all, I didn't request any information from The Grant University whatsoever. I have never been associated with them or done business with them or their apparent associated company International Wealth Builder (IWB) 10/27/08 I got my credit card bill. I noticed the following charges:
10/2 The Grant University 1.98 877-207-1915
10/20 The Grant University 69.95 877-207-1915
10/25 IWB Club 29.95 866-822-9626
None of these three charges were authorized on my credit card. Upon calling the number provided by the organizations who incurred the charges, I got no answer from either company. There was an option to leave a voice message. I left a message and have not been called back. I have since notified my credit provider of fraudulent activity.
Also, I did take the time to look over The Grant University's website and for those of you who are reading this and failed to read the 'terms of service' agreement—if you sign up for anything from their site, they can bill your credit card monthly for charges even though they claim initially that it's a free service.
