On 11/11 I ordered a tooth whitening kit online from Luminousbrites.com. This was a trial offer, and I agreed to pay shipping and handleing on item of $4.99. I was charged $4.99 on 11/13, and received the item that I ordered. On the paperwork, it said "We hope you enjoy and benefit from this product and continue to purchase from us in the future." I did not order anything more from this company, and never had any more communication with them.
On 12/03, while checking on my bank account, I noticed a charge of $88.97 to my account by the same company. I called the number on my statement, and sat on hold for over 1 hour, listening to music on the line. This morning, I called again, and got a recording to log onto the website, support@colonex700, to cancel my account with them.
I never agreed to pay them any more than $4.99 in the first place. When I tried to find them online, I found this webpage with information of others that the same thing has happened.
I am going to my bank today to see if there is anything that I can do, but I have the feeling I will be eating this.
